Other Projects: Amir worked on Coal Chamber's and second album with fellow band mate Jay Gordon. He also worked on Spine Shank's Strictly Diesel. Amir also worked on and produced and sang with fellow band mate Jay on Rod Stewart's Tribute Album Forever Mod Portrait of a StoryTeller. They sang "Hot Legs".

Other Things: Was once a guitarist for Rough Cutt and Jailhouse in the late 80's. He traveled everywhere even to Canada where he was DJing and producing. He's really shy but he is really crazy around friends!:) He is divorced and has a 13 year-old son named Michael Melody. He seems to have a nervous habit of rubbing his thighs.
